lostraven Sentinel has been kicking the can since the early 2000s. While I'll always see Sequels and Hunches as the peak of their style, it tickles me to no end to hear them still cranking along, even amidst the pandemic. Sounds like they even sent a drum track across the ether to make this new track a reality. Keep making the music you love, Sentinel!

New single 'Life Goals' was written and recorded in the duo's new home studio in Austin, Texas. Frustrated during this hellish pandemic, yet inspired to write an upbeat pop tune, Dennis Bestafka composed & played guitars, keys. He also sang back-up vocals on Chorus. Tarabud, the vocalist, weary at being housebound, yet longing to be physically active, weaved a story about two miss-understood young adults, wanting to conquer the world and be active! Their longtime High School friend Brandon Laws recorded the drums in his studio in Long Beach, California. Working remotely through Dropbox, they brought the song to fruition very quickly, just in time for a late summer release.
